Extensive planning, design, and engineering was focused on energy efficiency, self-sufficiency, and environmental considerations.
Highly energy-efficient, and totally dimming LED lighting is used throughout the property to reduce electrical demand. A fully-integrated Vantage USA Smart Home Control System is used for all lighting, which will automatically dim lighting levels when no activity is detected, and then conversely, automatically raises lighting levels when activity is detected.
The large, floor-to-ceiling custom glass doors allow very effective cross ventilation to minimize the need for air conditioning, further reducing the electrical demand. If there is every a power outage, a large 115 KV onsite backup generator automatically switches on to resume the supply of electricity to the residence.
The property also includes a total of 500,000 liters of underground tanks for pure rainwater collection, to be used for the total property water needs. Custom, fresh water filtration and activation systems process the water from the tanks. All gray water is processed by a large, very advanced biosystem that yields clean irrigation water for the extensive gardens. Both of these features greatly assist in water sustainability.
